Trysil is a ski resort in Norway. It offers around 78 km of marked pistes served by 41 lifts. The skiable terrain rises from 395 m at the base to 1100 m at its highest point, a vertical drop of 705 m.
The skiing and terrain
Trysil’s pistes break down into 40 km of easy (blue) runs, 18 km of intermediate (red) runs, 20 km of difficult (black) runs. With a high share of gentle terrain, it is a forgiving mountain for building confidence.
Who it suits
Beginners and families are well catered for here, with plenty of nursery and blue terrain to progress on. The extensive lift network keeps queues moving and opens up a large area to explore.
Season and snow
At a summit of 1100 m, conditions are best in the heart of winter; check recent snow reports before booking. As with any resort, snow cover varies year to year, so it is worth confirming conditions close to your trip.
