"Hugely experienced instructor that has spent 24 years in Val d’Isere and also taught all over the world in NZ, Chile and across Europe"
I caught the skiing bug as a 5 year old in our garden on the hillside of Rothbury, and from skiing down to school in Northumberland, progressed to teaching, racing and coaching in the Scottish highlands and then on to FIS international racing all over Europe. I have the French BREVET D'ETAT from Ecole National de Ski and Alpinism (ENSA) Chamonix. I’m a former BASI trainer/examiner and have the top British ski teaching qualification (BASI ISTD).
I've been lucky enough to have taught in some of the worlds best ski schools in NZ, Chile and Europe and the past 24 years I'm based in beautiful Val d'Isère. I adore teaching at any level (who wouldn't?). I'm very patient with nervous beginners, animated but safe with kids, passionate and very experienced for off-piste while sharing my huge love for skiing and the whole mountain experience.
I do photo and instant video analysis or online distance video analysis and feedback. I look forward to meeting and skiing with you.
