I am Mauro, I am 29 years old and I was born in a little town in the Italian Alps, just near Lake Maggiore. I have been skiing since I can remember and I have been enjoying teaching this fascinating sport since 2008.
I have been working as a ski instructor on a part-time basis in the ski resorts around my hometown in Val D’Ossola and in Cervinia-Matterhorn ski resort before coming to Val d’Isere. I have experience with a wide range of learners: from young pupils to adults who wanted to perfectionate their advanced skills. When I can, I challenge myself with some freestyle skiing and of course I love freeriding.
In my other life, I am an Engineer Project Manager and I spent 6 months in Spain and 4 years in UK before moving to France, where I currently live. I can speak English, Spanish, some basic French and Italian. When I cannot go skiing, I like to go windsurfing, kitesurfing or practising capoeira.
I love to have the opportunity to share my passion for skiing with people and I hope to make them fall in love with this beautiful sport and the nature that surrounds it.
