Valle Nevado is a ski resort in Chile. It offers around 40 km of marked pistes served by 17 lifts. The skiable terrain rises from 2860 m at the base to 3670 m at its highest point, a vertical drop of 810 m.

Valle Nevado’s pistes break down into 4 km of easy (blue) runs, 14 km of intermediate (red) runs, 22 km of difficult (black) runs. With a strong share of steeper terrain, it rewards confident skiers looking for a challenge.

Stronger intermediates and advanced skiers get the most from the mountain, though there is terrain to learn on too.
Season and snow
Topping out above 3,000 m, Valle Nevado is among the more snow-sure resorts and often enjoys a long season. As with any resort, snow cover varies year to year, so it is worth confirming conditions close to your trip.
