Splash your cash on a private instructor for you, or to share with family and friends.
£500 would get you a few morning sessions to tune up your technique or a full day spent exploring the resort.
2. Group Lessons
£500 will get you a great pack of ski or snowboarding lessons. You could buy group lessons for you plus 2-3 others.
It’s a brilliant way to learn and improve in a group with similar people.
3. Freestyle Lessons
It’s the lesson everyone wants to try, now you’ve got the perfect excuse. Get a freestyle coach to take you to the park or off-piste to teach you how to correctly take-off and land on jumps and even try a few tricks!
4. Backcountry / Off-piste Guiding
Ever dreamed of skiing in that amazing white powder. It’s what instagram is made for. £500 would get you a full day guiding with many of our qualified professional guides, whether it’s your first time off-piste, or you’d like to try ski touring and going into the wilderness, having a guide is essential for mountain safety and will bring a whole new element to your skiing. 5. Paragliding / Parapenting
A thrilling and beautiful experience, you won’t see views like this anywhere else! We’ll admit, the take-off can be scary but that’s part of the ride. You’ll fly in tandem with an expert for a 20-30min decent over the mountain range back to the resort.
£500 would buy a flight for you and 2 others to enjoy. There’s plenty of resorts which offer this experience, it’s worth booking in advance as in the busy weeks this gets filled up quickly!
6. Dog Sledding
Sledding is an absolute crowd please no matter your age. Many of the experiences will take you through forrest or up tracks away from the ski slopes with the chance of spotting rare mountain wildlife. Share this experience with 2 others and you’d still have money left over for a ski lesson!
